Kathleen has been a photographer for over 35 years. She graduated from Newark School Of Fine And Industrial Arts in Fine Arts. During the first half of her career she worked in professional photographic labs, as well as in the photography department at ATT&T Bell Labs in Holmdel. Over the past several decades she has done freelance photography for some high end photogrpahy studios, and established her own business, Kathleen Nademus Photography.

During the last 10 years, Kathy has been expanding into fine art photography, especially her passion in black & white photography. Her work has been exhibited in shows & juried competitions throughout NJ, PA, NY, & VT, as well as being published in The Photo Review.

Kathy continues to shoot in film, & prints her black & white in a darkroom. Most of her work is done on 35mm Nikon cameras, though she her been experimenting with an old Agfa Isolette camera & a Holga pinhole panorama camera. She continues to take workshops in Santa Fe, Cape May, New England, Italy, & France (in which she followed Claude Monet's painting travels). Recently she has turned her interests to photography's alternative processes, bringing her full turn back to her fine arts roots.
