ARTIST STATEMENT: I began photographing still life as a way to study the light and how it is captured by the camera, this has led me to a love of the genre’. Still life images are “created” by the artist using composition, form and light. Through the use of vintage props, painting filters, digital textures, tactile papers and antique frames, I transform my images into pieces of art inspired by the great Dutch Masters, giving them a timeless and classic feel.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Theresa is a fine art photographer. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Her images have won numerous local, national and inter-national awards. Theresa is an active member of the arts community having served as an online still life instructor for the Photographic Society of America. She is currently the co-manager of the Exhibition Committee for the New jersey Photography Forum. In addition, she acts as a juror in numerous photography and art shows.
